The journey from the launch of Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) 2024-2025 to the State Level Camp has been an incredible and inspiring endeavor, marked by teamwork, innovation, and a shared commitment to promoting scientific temperament among students. This report highlights the milestones of this journey and the activities that made the State Camp a resounding success.
The VVM 2024-2025 initiative was inaugurated with great enthusiasm, while the valedictory ceremony was graced by the Hon’ble Governor of Rajasthan, Sh. Haribhau Bagde, as the Hon’ble Chief Guest. His inspiring address set the tone for an exciting year of scientific exploration and learning.
As the Nodal State Coordinator, my efforts have been dedicated to ensuring that this program reaches every corner of the state, fostering curiosity and participation among students. Numerous meetings with stakeholders, academic institutions, and resource partners were instrumental in laying a robust foundation for the program. These interactions also ensured that the activities and events were engaging, inclusive, and educational.
The State Level Camp, the culmination of this journey, showcased the fruits of these collective efforts. The camp offered a rich blend of theoretical and practical learning experiences, featuring exhibitions, demonstrations, and interactive sessions.

About the SLC:
The State Level Camp (SLC) of Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) of Rajasthan, held at St. Wilfred’s School, Mansarovar, Jaipur, stands as a remarkable convergence of scientific enthusiasm and intellectual fervor. This event served as a platform to bring together 110 bright minds selected from across the state, out of the 124 students who qualified to participate in this prestigious camp.
Held in the vibrant city of Jaipur, the camp not only celebrated the intellectual prowess of these young minds but also provided a unique space for learning, interaction, and exploration of diverse aspects of science. The camp aimed to foster a deep-rooted interest in science among students and encourage them to think critically, innovatively, and apply scientific concepts in real-world scenarios.
One of the highlights of the State Level Camp was the series of examinations conducted to gauge students’ proficiency in various scientific domains:
Application Oriented Scholastic Aptitude Test (AOSAT): Assessed the application of theoretical knowledge in practical scenarios.
Indian Contribution and Advancement to Science and Technology (ICAST): Evaluated students’ understanding of India’s contributions to the global scientific landscape.
Indian Knowledge System (IKS): Tested knowledge about India’s rich scientific heritage.
Experimental Skill Test (EST): Gauged students’ practical scientific skills.
Apart from the exams, the camp also provided a holistic scientific experience through exhibitions and demonstrations.

The exhibition featured cutting-edge research and technological advancements showcased by various institutions. The following stalls were part of the event:
CSIR-CEERI: Innovations in milk product technologies, demonstrating practical applications of research in food technology.
National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA): Showcased India’s rich heritage in traditional medicine, blending ancient wisdom with modern applications.
Learn & Build: Hands-on activities encouraging participants to develop practical skills, promoting creativity and problem-solving.
Department of Science & Technology (DST), Rajasthan: Key advancements in scientific research and development.
SMS Hospital & Medical College: Insights into modern healthcare and medical sciences, broadening students’ horizons in medicine.
Transport Department, Rajasthan (Road Safety): Educational sessions promoting essential safety measures and responsibility.
Padmanabh Innovations: Showcased innovative industrial applications, including hydro-rockets, sparking students’ interest in engineering.
Dr. B. Lal Institute of Biotechnology: Advancements in vermicomposting and horticulture, emphasizing sustainability and environmental stewardship.
MNIT Incubation Cell: Displayed innovative projects and entrepreneurial initiatives, inspiring students to explore the start-up ecosystem.
Physics Experimental Demonstration: Led by Prof. G. S. Menaria, these engaging experiments made physics both exciting and relatable.
Students from Various Engineering & Science Colleges: Shared their projects and research, fostering collaboration and innovation.
The enthusiasm and creativity displayed by students underscored the impact of VVM in nurturing the next generation of scientists and innovators. The journey has been successful due to the collective efforts of students, teachers, coordinators, and institutional partners. The support of VVM’s core team and the enthusiasm of participants ensured that each milestone was met with resounding success.
As we conclude the State Level Camp, the experiences and learnings reaffirm our commitment to building a scientifically empowered society. Together, we look forward to continuing this journey of discovery, innovation, and excellence.
